BUSINESS GAME AS A PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGY DETERMINING THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' GLOBAL COMPETENCIES

Abstract:
This article examines the issue of developing pedagogical support that facilitates the formation of global analysis and synthesis skills in students. The purpose ofthe article is to design the structure of a business game, its practical application in teacher design activities, developed from the perspective of integrating activity-based, synergetic, coaching approaches. An analysis of the problem of developing global competencies in students, presented in Russian and foreign scientific literature, is carried out. A new business game structure is proposed that promotes the development of students ’ abilities to think globally. The business game «International Summit on Solving the Problems of Counterterrorism» is presented as a practical example. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the proposed business game model, which is constructed within the context of integrating the self-organization theory, the principles of the activity-based approach, and the principles and techniques of coaching. The interrelated use and complementarity of the activity, synergetic and coaching approaches made it possible to formulate new structural components of a business game, which determined the theoretical value of the study.
